Read sitemap
An MCP tool from the Web and Network server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.
Read an XML sitemap or sitemap index and return its URLs with lastmod dates and a count. For a sitemap index, lists the child sitemaps (set follow=true to read the first few children too). Handles gzip-less XML and plain-text sitemaps. Use it to inventory a site's pages.
Name on the gateway: web__read_sitemap · read-only.
Parameters

limit | integer | Most URLs to return (default 200, max 2000). |
follow | boolean | For a sitemap index, also read up to 5 child sitemaps. |
How to call it
Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
