Dns lookup
An MCP tool from the Web and Network server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.
Resolve DNS records for a name over Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS. Types: A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA, CAA, SRV, PTR, or "all" for the common set. Returns each record with its TTL and whether the answer was DNSSEC-validated. Use it to check where a domain points, its mail servers, SPF/DMARC TXT records, or nameservers.
Name on the gateway: web__dns_lookup · read-only.
Parameters

type | a | aaaa | mx | txt | ns | cname | soa | caa | srv | ptr | all | Record type. Defaults to "all" (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME). |
How to call it
Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
