Page metadata

An MCP tool from the Web and Network server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Fetch a web page and extract its SEO and social metadata: title, meta description, canonical URL, robots meta, language, charset, Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, JSON-LD schema types, hreflang alternates, favicon, feed links, H1/H2 headings and word count. Honours robots.txt. Use it for SEO audits or to see how a link will unfurl.

Name on the gateway: web__page_metadata · read-only.

How to call it

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
