Reverse dns

An MCP tool from the Web and Network server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Find the hostname (PTR record) for an IPv4 or IPv6 address, via DNS-over-HTTPS. Many addresses have no PTR; the result says so.

Name on the gateway: web__reverse_dns · read-only.

How to call it

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
