Ip geolocation

An MCP tool from the Public Knowledge server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Approximate location of a public IP address (ipapi.co): city, region, country, coordinates, timezone, ASN and organisation. Accuracy is city-level at best. The free source allows about 1,000 lookups a day, so this is limited to 10 fresh lookups a minute and cached for a day.

Name on the gateway: knowledge__ip_geolocation · read-only.

How to call it

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
