Update List

An MCP tool from the X (Twitter) API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Update List Updates the details of a specific List owned by the authenticated user by its ID. [PUT /2/lists/{id}]

Name on the gateway: x_api__update_lists · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`id` required	`string`	Unique identifier of a List
`description`	`string`	New description for the List (up to 100 characters).
`name`	`string`	New name for the List (1-25 characters).
`private`	`boolean`	Whether the List is private.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
