Update a Chat Group Conversation
An MCP tool from the X (Twitter) API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.
Update a Chat Group Conversation Renames an encrypted Chat group conversation, changes its avatar, or sets its description. The client encrypts each value with the conversation key and lists the values it changed in modified_fields. [PUT /2/chat/conversations/{id}]
Name on the gateway: x_api__update_chat_group · may change things.
Parameters

base64_encoded_key_rotation | string | Base64-encoded key rotation payload. |
conversation_key_version required | string | Version of the conversation key the values are encrypted with. |
conversation_participant_keys | array | Encrypted conversation keys for each participant. |
group_avatar_url | string | Encrypted group avatar URL. |
group_description | string | Encrypted group description. |
group_name | string | Encrypted group name. |
modified_fields required | array | The group values this request changes. |
rotated_pmk_bundle | array | Message keys re-encrypted with the rotated conversation key. |
How to call it
Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
