Update Bot

An MCP tool from the X (Twitter) API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Update Bot Updates a bot's handle, display name, or who may send it Direct Messages. [PUT /2/bots/{id}]

Name on the gateway: x_api__update_bot · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`id` required	`string`	id parameter
`display_name`	`string`	New display name.
`dm_permission`	`everyone \| premium \| no_one`	Who may send Direct Messages to the bot.
`handle`	`string`	New handle (X screen name): 5-15 characters, letters, numbers, or underscores.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
