Get current time

An MCP tool from the Time server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Get the current date and time in an IANA timezone.

Name on the gateway: time__get_current_time · read-only.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`timezone`	`string`	IANA timezone, e.g. "Asia/Kolkata". Defaults to UTC.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
