Wrap text

An MCP tool from the Text Toolkit server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Re-wrap paragraphs to a maximum line width, keeping paragraph breaks. Optionally indent each line or prefix it (for quoting or commenting).

Name on the gateway: text__wrap_text · read-only.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`text` required	`string`	The text.
`width`	`integer`	Maximum characters per line. Default 80.
`prefix`	`string`	Put this at the start of each line, e.g. "> " or "// ". Default none.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
