Text similarity
An MCP tool from the Text Toolkit server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.
How alike two texts are: Levenshtein edit distance, a 0–1 similarity ratio, and word-level Jaccard overlap. Use for fuzzy matching, deduplication and typo detection. Up to 5,000 characters each.
Name on the gateway: text__text_similarity · read-only.

How to call it
Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
