Generate checklist

An MCP tool from the Text Toolkit server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Turn lines of text into a Markdown checklist, numbered list or bullet list, trimming existing bullets and numbers first.

Name on the gateway: text__generate_checklist · read-only.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`text` required	`string`	One item per line.
`style`	`checklist \| numbered \| bullets`	Default "checklist".

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
