Find and replace
An MCP tool from the Text Toolkit server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.
Replace every occurrence of a plain string (not a regex) in a text, optionally ignoring case or matching whole words only. Returns the new text and the count.
Name on the gateway: text__find_and_replace · read-only.
Parameters

replace | string | What to put instead. Default empty (delete). |
case_insensitive | boolean | Default false. |
whole_word | boolean | Match only whole words. Default false. |
How to call it
Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
