Record one step of step-by-step reasoning. Use for complex problems, plans that may need revising, and analysis where the full scope is not clear at the start. Adjust totalThoughts freely, revise earlier thoughts, branch into alternatives, and set nextThoughtNeeded to false only when you have a satisfactory answer.

Parameters

`thought` required	`string`	The current thinking step.
`nextThoughtNeeded` required	`boolean`	Whether another step is needed.
`thoughtNumber` required	`integer`	This thought's number.
`totalThoughts` required	`integer`	Current estimate of thoughts needed.
`isRevision`	`boolean`	Whether this revises earlier thinking.
`revisesThought`	`integer`	Which thought is being reconsidered.
`branchFromThought`	`integer`	Branching point thought number.
`branchId`	`string`	Identifier for the current branch.
`needsMoreThoughts`	`boolean`	Set when reaching the end but realising more are needed.

How to call it

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
