Delete an item

An MCP tool from the OpenAI API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Delete an item from a conversation with the given IDs. [DELETE /conversations/{conversation_id}/items/{item_id}]

Name on the gateway: openai_api__delete_conversation_item · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`conversation_id` required	`string`	The ID of the conversation that contains the item.
`item_id` required	`string`	The ID of the item to delete.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
