Create Skill Version

An MCP tool from the OpenAI API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Create Skill Version Create a new immutable skill version. [POST /skills/{skill_id}/versions]

Name on the gateway: openai_api__create_skill_version · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`skill_id` required	`string`	The identifier of the skill to version.
`files` required	`array`	Skill files to upload (directory upload) or a single zip file.
`default`	`boolean`	Whether to set this version as the default.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
