Create project role

An MCP tool from the OpenAI API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Create project role Creates a custom role for a project. [POST /projects/{project_id}/roles]

Name on the gateway: openai_api__create_project_role · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`project_id` required	`string`	The ID of the project to update.
`role_name` required	`string`	Unique name for the role.
`permissions` required	`array`	Permissions to grant to the role.
`description`	`string`	Optional description of the role.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
