Add Rule

An MCP tool from the ElevenLabs API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Add Rule Add a behavioral rule to the named receptionist. [POST /v1/reception/customer-facing-agents/{agent_id}/rules]

Name on the gateway: elevenlabs_api__smb_add_agent_rule · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`agent_id` required	`string`	agent_id parameter
`title` required	`string`	Title of the rule.
`description` required	`string`	What the agent should do, in detail.
`priority`	`strict \| suggestion`	strict: the agent must always follow the rule; suggestion: a guideline.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
