Update a Check

An MCP tool from the DigitalOcean API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Update a Check To update the settings of an Uptime check, send a PUT request to /v2/uptime/checks/$CHECK_ID. [PUT /v2/uptime/checks/{check_id}]

Name on the gateway: digitalocean_api__uptime_update_check · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`check_id` required	`string`	A unique identifier for a check.
`name`	`string`	A human-friendly display name.
`type`	`ping \| http \| https`	The type of health check to perform.
`target`	`string`	The endpoint to perform healthchecks on.
`regions`	`array`	An array containing the selected regions to perform healthchecks from.
`enabled`	`boolean`	A boolean value indicating whether the check is enabled/disabled.

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
