Update a Knowledge Base

An MCP tool from the DigitalOcean API server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.

Update a Knowledge Base To update a knowledge base, send a PUT request to /v2/gen-ai/knowledge_bases/{uuid}. [PUT /v2/gen-ai/knowledge_bases/{uuid}]

Name on the gateway: digitalocean_api__genai_update_knowledge_base · may change things.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`uuid` required	`string`	Knowledge base id
`database_id`	`string`	The id of the DigitalOcean database this knowledge base will use, optional.
`name`	`string`	Knowledge base name
`project_id`	`string`	The id of the DigitalOcean project this knowledge base will belong to
`reranking_config`	`object`	Configuration for cross-encoder reranking during retrieval.
`tags`	`array`	Tags to organize your knowledge base.
`body_uuid`	`string`	Knowledge base id

Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
