Csv to json
An MCP tool from the Data Formats server, hosted on mcp.hjlabs.in.
Parse CSV or TSV (RFC 4180 quoting, delimiter auto-detected or given) into an array of JSON objects keyed by the header row, or arrays of arrays if there is no header. Numbers and booleans are converted unless you say otherwise.
Name on the gateway: data__csv_to_json · read-only.
Parameters

delimiter | string | ",", "tab", ";", "|" or "auto". Default auto. |
header | boolean | First row is a header. Default true. |
coerce_types | boolean | Turn "12" into 12 and "true" into true. Default true. |
limit | integer | Return at most this many rows. Default all, max 100,000. |
How to call it
Through the Smart Gateway, any client can run it by name with call_tool, or let the gateway find it with search_tools:
